Entrust CA No Longer Trusted

For those of you that use Entrust as your CA, you’ll need to look for a new signing authority.  On June 27th, Google announced that they will no longer be supporting Entrust signed certs.  Specifically, any cert signed by Entrust after November 11, 2024 will no longer be trusted.

If you’re an Aspera on Cloud (AoC) customer leveraging on-premises tethered nodes, then you know that you must have a valid cert in order for AoC to trust your node.  IBM is following Google here, we’ve recently seen a number of customers run into AOC node issues after renewing their certs with Entrust post November 11, 2024.

If you have any questions or need help updating your certs, please contact PacGenesis Engineering.
